Farimont

FAIRMONT is an area of convenience in South Lethbridge. Situated around a large man-made lake, all Fairmont homes enjoy water views. Sitting south of 24 Ave S, just off two of the main roads in the city, Lethbridge is literally at your fingertips.

And so are trips to the States. Located one hour North of the Sweetgrass/Coutts Border Crossing, Lethbridge is one of the closest Alberta city to the United States.

Farimont differentiates itself from the majority of the Southside because it is one of the few areas that are undergoing new real estate development. Though often well maintained, homes in other areas of South Lethbridge are commonly 50 or more years old.

This subdivision is conveniently located within minute of the Lethbridge College. Other schools serving South Lethbridge include: Agnes Davidson Elementary, Fleetwood Bowden Elementary, General Stewart Elementary, Lakeview Elementary, Lethbridge Collegiate Institute and Catholic Central High.

South Lethbridge residents enjoy their proximity to downtown, recreational areas and everyday amenities. Downtown Lethbridge is home to many interesting boutique clothing and home furniture stores as well as eating experiences that will suit a wide range of taste buds. The hospital is also in South Lethbridge.

Keeping busy on the Southside is easy. There are pools, ball diamonds and a curling/hockey rink. There are also many large green spaces including Henderson Lake, the largest such space in the city where residents enjoy walking, rollerblading and cycling with their animal and human friends. The Galt Museum and Southern Alberta Art Gallery are also both fun afternoon visits.

Residents of Fairmont also enjoy being close to the Enmax Centre, the home of the Lethbridge Hurricanes and the best live entertainment to visit the city.
