Hardieville is a residential neighborhood located at the very north end of all the neighborhoods in Lethbridge. It was formerly a hamlet north west of Lethbridge and it was named after William Duncan Livingstone Hardie who happened to be the thirteenth mayor of Lethbridge. Essential services are also available within minutes of your doorstep. In this unique and charming neighborhood you may just want to stay at home and enjoy your beautiful surroundings!

This hamlet was established in 1910 and was annexed by the city in 1978, making it one of the more mature areas for residential living in north Lethbridge. There is a variety of homes in this area with some being well established, and others having been built over the years to give it a feeling of living in a very diversified community.

Hardieville lies north of Legacy Ridge, which is the newest subdivision in north Lethbridge, and the two communities are now connected by streets for easy access. From 44th Avenue, which is the furthest north boundary in this neighborhood, there is not much to see but fields.

It almost feels like you are close to nature! Easiest access to this neighborhood is via 13 Street North. Shopping, restaurants, and many other professional services are only a few minutes away in the Uplands subdivision which is located across 13th street to the east. A new city park is proposed to be built adjacent to Hardieville neighborhood in the next few years which will only enhance the living experience in this area.

As for home prices in the area, they are as diversified as the particular age or style of home you might want to choose. Usually a buyer will expect a bit lower price in this area, but as more north side development occurs, and more amenities reach closer, this mature area may be a diamond in the rough with only time to tell its real story!
