GARRY STATION residents live in the northwestern portion of the rapidly developing West side of Lethbridge. Located just minutes Gary Station 2off of Highway 3 and Whoop-Up Drive, it provides a convenient location that promises a short commute.

Garry Station pays tribute to a famous Lethbridge landmark—the High Level Bridge. The rail theme is evident throughout the community, from its streetlights, to the street names and home designs. The High Level Bridge is the longest/highest of its type in the world. There are similar bridges that are either longer or higher, but no other bridge has the combination of length and height . It spans 5,327 feet in length (just over 1 mile) and soars 314 feet above the bed of the Oldman River.

Nearby Schools include Father Leonard Van Tighem , Mike Mountain Horse Elementary  and G.S. Lakie Middle School. Chinook High School,  the Catholic Central West campus and the University of Lethbridge are all just a short drive away.

Garry Station provides easy access to everyday amenities including Safeway, Save-on-Foods, Shoppers Drug Mart, Home Hardware, McDonalds and Tim Horton’s. Confirmed tenants at the nearby Crossings include No Frills, Rexall Drugs and full-service restaurants including Boston Pizza and Original Joe’s. Tim Horton’s, Subway, a gas bar and a new Calgary-based Vietnamese restaurant are also in the mix to open in Summer of 2016.

Leisure amenities include the approved and under construction Crossings Leisure Complex that will feature 2 NHL sized ice arenas and a 10 sheet curling complex and is scheduled to open in spring of 2016. Phase 2 will feature an aquatics centre with waterslides, lazy river and whirlpools, a multi-sport field house, a fitness centre, indoor track and an indoor playground. Construction is expected to begin in Spring 2016 for completion in late 2018 or early 2019. Central Garry Station Park is also close to enjoy and comes complete with a pond, water features, green space and walking paths.
