Residents of The Crossings live in the heart of an ever expanding West Lethbridge. Located minutes off of Highway 3 and Whoop-Up Drive, The Crossings provides a convenient location for a short commute to other areas of the city, whether for work or pleasure.
This community is one of the newest areas in Lethbridge and is expected to offer a unique setting for residents. The Crossings is being marketed as a “city within a city” and is designed around the four community pillars of residential living, commerce, recreation and knowledge.
With that being said, the Crossing is going to be a lot more than the average residential community. Garden apartments, townhomes, a hotel, office space and main street retail are all part of the plan.
The closest schools to The Crossings are Chinook High School and the Catholic Central High West Campus. Other nearby schools include G.S. Lakie Middle School, Father Leonard Van Tighem School, Nicholas Sheran Community School and Mike Mountain Horse Elementary, as well as the University of Lethbridge.

Tim Horton’s, Subway and a new Calgary-based Vietnamese restaurant are also in the mix to open in Summer of 2016. A short drive will get you to Safeway, Save-on-Foods, Shoppers Drug Mart, Home Hardware and McDonalds.
You won’t be able to get much closer to the Crossings Leisure Complex which will feature 2 NHL sized ice arenas and a 10 sheet curling complex. It is scheduled to open in spring of 2016. Phase 2 will feature an aquatics centre with waterslides, lazy river and whirlpools, a multi-sport field house, a fitness centre, indoor track and an indoor playground. Construction is expected to begin in Spring 2016 for completion in late 2018 or early 2019.Other leisure options include the Paradise Canyon Golf Resort and fishing in the Oldman River and Nicholas Sheran Lake and hiking or mountain biking in the coulees.
